Jasper County Airport recently completed the first stage of a street sign upgrade project aimed at giving a face lift to the airport and help communicate upcoming outreach, educational, and community service projects. The sign was designed and installed by ISF Signs out of Indianapolis. The top portion (Jasper County Airport) will be internally-lit LEDs. Kevin Moore with Moore Electric will extend the power to the sign, with the help of Midway Electronics‘s trenching and boring service.
For the second stage of the signage project, the airport will have an LED electronic message center installed on the street sign, which will allow the airport communicate upcoming events as well as market the services of the airport and commercial tenants.
